The domesticated silver fox is a form of melanistic, domesticated red fox. In 1959 the Soviet Union set up the fox selective breeding project, aimed at artificially breeding tamer, more dog-like foxes for the fur trade. By selecting and breeding the tamest foxes over successive generations, soviet scientists eventually succeeded in breeding foxes of similar tameness to domestic dogs. These foxes retained many juvenile traits similar to today's domestic dogs and showed dog-like behavior such as whining, barking, and submissiveness. However, an unexpected side effect of the breeding program included patterned and patchy coats similar to various breeds of dogs, thus making them unsuitable for the fur industry. Academically, this experiment has provided valuable insights into how wolves may have become domesticated during the Neolithic period to form today's domestic dogs. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, funding was cut to the domestic fox research project, leading to significant difficulties in maintaining their research operations in the Russian Federation. Today, domesticated silver foxes are sold as exotic pets in order to continue domestic fox research.
Wolves were selectively bread to produce domestic dogs. This affirmation is:

Pangea was a supercontinent that was formed 300 million years ago, assembling all of the earth's continents into a single landmass. Pangea was subsequently surrounded by a single global ocean, combining all of today's modern oceans, named Panthalassa. Fossil evidence for the existence of Pangea would suggest that numerous, identical species existed around this time across multiple continents, suggesting that these species were not isolated by habitat fragmentation. Throughout the earth's history, the formation of supercontinents has happened a total of six times in the geological past, with the first supercontinent forming an estimated 3.6 billion years ago. There is some academic debate as to whether the modern continents of Africa, Asia, and Europe (often referred to as Afro-Eurasia) qualify as a supercontinent. Africa joined the continuous continents of Europe and Asia via the Isthmus of Suez, a narrow strip of land connecting the two landmasses. However, since Afro-Eurasia does not contain the Americas, Antarctica, or Australia, Geologists are reluctant to name Afro-Eurasia a true supercontinent.
Afro-Eurasia is the largest landmass of all time. This affirmation is:
